Pidherney’s Inc. Requires an
Experienced Water and Sewer Foreman
Based out of Blackfalds office, as well as out of town locations.
Priority will be given to those candidates with experience.
Pidherney’s Inc. is large company completing projects in all aspects of heavy civil, oilfield and trucking in Alberta for over 50 years. Our Civil Office is based out of Blackfalds and we currently have projects in central Alberta and Northern Alberta. We are a company dedicated to working with owners, engineers, and all governing bodies to ensure all project requirements are met and jobs are completed on schedule and on budget. We are pleased to be adding an Underground Foreman to our growing team. We are currently looking for Foreman with experience mainly in Water and Sewer but experience with Road Construction and Earthworks would be an asset.
Position Responsibilities
- Work along side management to efficiently complete work.
- Effectively communicate with Superintendents, Project Managers, Engineers, and Consultants
- Utilize applicants experience to ensure quality work is maintained.
- Help deliver and improve the company health and safety policies/procedures while following OH&S Regulations
- Knowledge in pressure testing and chlorination of water mains.
- Competence in the utilization of engineered shoring devices for safe trenching practices.
- Be able to mentor/train crew members
Applicant Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Water and Sewer.
- Experience leading crews.
- Clean license abstract
- Thorough understanding of project drawings and specifications
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent leadership skills with an ability to delegate tasks clearly and effectively.
- Self motivation and grit to get the job done.
- First Aid, H2S, CSO, CSTS, Ground Disturbance, Confined Space, Leadership in Safety Excellence, AB Legislation Awareness are an asset

CIVIL EARTHWORKS CONSTRUCTION FOREMAN
Based out of Central Alberta, working throughout the province.
Priority will be given to those candidates with the following Foreman experience:
- Minimum 3 – 5 years running crews
- Be able to read and understand drawings/blueprints
- Experience in Road, Landfill and Subdivision construction
- Understand Alberta Transportation Specifications
- Ability to run and understand the operation of Heavy Equipment
