IT Support Technician

The ideal candidate will have worked a minimum three years in Information Technology with at least one year in a Level 2 (or higher) position.  In addition, verifiable experience in some, if not all, of the following areas is required

  • VMWare ESXi
  • O365 / Azure Services
  • Server 2016 / Server 2019 / Ubuntu Server
  • Desktop Imaging
  • Mobility / Telecom
  • LAN/WLAN Security and Management
  • Documentation and Training
  • API / Web Service Programming

This position, based in Blackfalds, will blend Help Desk responsibilities and project work.  Evening and weekend work may be required as dictated by the needs of the business.  Limited travel within Central Alberta will be required.

The contract term will be six months in length with the potential for extension.

We require an Underground Utilities Project Manager/ Estimator for our Blackfalds, AB location.

Assets Include:

  • Project management/estimating experience in water and sewer in Alberta
  • Professional designation (CET, EIT, and PMP)
  • Municipal utility infrastructure contract administration
  • Background in civil survey, Auto Cad or quality takeoffs
  • Knowledge of site development guidelines and processes
  • Geotechnical engineering civil site understanding
